Construction & monitoring
Once a new investment idea is approved, the Investment Committee discusses the target allocation for the new holding within the portfolio. Among the factors taken into account, are:
- Stock's liquidity and float;
- Expected investment time horizon.
The Investment Committee monitors the investment portfolio on an ongoing basis and decides on the possibility of selling or buying stocks based on various criteria which may include:
- Gains or losses made;
- Price target;
- Investment horizon;
- Change in the fundamentals or strategy of the company.
