Yvon Verhoeven

Prior to joining the EET Investment Committee, Yvon was Director of Private Banking & Portfolio Management at Bank Dewaay, one of the top players on the Belgium Private Banking market. Today, Dewaay is Belgium 's premier financial advisory firm and manage assets valued at 6.5 bln eur. Dewaay is part of Kredietbank Bank Luxembourg Group, a leading European Private Bank. Yvon spent 15 years with them starting as portfolio manager and ending up leading the Private Banking Department.

He was previously at Citibank where he was Representative of Travel Check Europe, Africa and Middle East at Citibank and was in charge of the team across the whole region. Yvon was also Manager of the Private Banking Department in Brussels.

Prior to Citibank, he was Assistant Manager of the Sales Department at Fortis Bank Brussels Headquarters.

Since 2000, Yvon has also acted as Head of Social Affairs of the Royal Sporting Club Anderlecht, one of the largest and most successful football clubs in Belgium. The club has been in the Belgian first division since 1935-36.

Yvon holds a B.A. in business administration from Saint Louis Institute (Brussels) with a major in banking, stock exchanges and finance.
