Krishnamurthy Subramanian

Since 2005, Subbu is Assistant Professor of Finance at the Goizueta Business School (Emory University) in Altlanta (US). Subbu joined the School, after completing his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business where he was awarded the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation Dissertation Fellowship for his dissertation related to "Firm boundaries and Financing Choices in Human Capital Intensive Firms."

Prior to joining Chicago Business School, Subbu worked for JP Morgan (US) in their Investment Banking Division where, inter alia , he developed models for valuing the Human capital assets of firms, and also models for valuing exotic options in M&A transactions. He also worked for the largest Indian Financial Institution ICICI Bank in Fixed Income Research (India) and for the Indian Fixed Income Markets regulator FIMMDA (India).

He is currently a Director of Quantum Phynance, a Financial Engineering firm providing customized solutions to Banks, Financial Institutions, Corporates & Institutional Investors.

Subbu holds a PhD and an MBA in Finance of the Chicago University 's Graduate School of Business (2005). He also holds an MBA in Finance of the Indian Institute of Management (Calcutta , 1999) and a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering of the Indian Institute of Technology (Kanpur, 1994).
