Jean-Marc Bloch
Prior to this, Jean-Marc was Associate Director for UBS AG in London. He delivered daily and weekly multimedia Technical Key Notes to brokers and investment advisors. He was also responsible for writing global macro comments, quarterly technical analysis on global sectors, and on the use of Value-at-Risk for portfolio management.
Jean-Marc was also a Technical Analyst Specialist at Bloomberg Financial Markets, in London and the Benelux. He developed training and seminars, internally and externally, on currencies, money markets, fixed income, equities, futures & options and OTC derivatives. He advised clients in Value-at-Risk, relative value analysis, yield curve analysis and market research.
In 1997, Jean-Marc set up and operated a trading desk in Paris for Solaris Capital Management, a proprietary trading firm. Jean-Marc also traded bond futures on the French National Board on MATIF and the German Bund on LIFFE, the London exchange-traded derivatives market. Prior to this, he traded discretionary accounts on major hard currencies in San Francisco for Frankwell Investment.
Jean-Marc started his career as a market maker assistant on equity and index options for the Société des Bourses de France – Monep SA, – the options exchange in Paris (now part of Euronext S.A.). Jean-Marc holds a BSc in Finance, majoring in Investment Banking and Capital Markets from ESIAE (International School for Higher Learning of Management in Paris).
